A threefold cord
Missions works when the mission partner, the local church, and the sent team each carry real weight, and none of them carries the others. The partner knows the community and holds the relationships that outlast any single visit, the church provides the people and the prayer and the willingness to keep showing up after the excitement wears off, and the team brings its hands and its attention and carries the story home. When one of the three ends up carrying the other two, the whole thing gets fragile in a way nobody notices until it breaks. Sixth Hour sits between the three. We're the connector, not a fourth party with a program of its own.

Preparation
Before we connect a church to anyone, we've been there. We meet the leadership, review the books and the governance, walk the property, look at how children are protected, and ask the questions that don't get answered over email. Every partner in our network has been visited in person, and they get looked at again.
We prepare the people you send.
Nobody gets on a plane unprepared. Sent teams work through cultural readiness, spiritual formation, trauma-informed ministry, safeguarding, logistics, team cohesion, and the honest teaching on how good intentions can do harm. Most of what makes a trip go well happens before anyone leaves home.

Trip operation
Waivers and informed consent. Child safeguarding. Medical and emergency protocol. Clear authority to cancel a trip and a written plan for the day something goes wrong. It's the least visible part of what we do and the part that matters most on the worst day.
We run the trip.
Flights, lodging, ground transport, documents, meals, budget, and the hundred details in between, handled end to end. Your leaders lead. We carry the logistics.
Wherever you're starting from
Some churches come to us with a trip already on the calendar. Some come with a partnership that's been running for eleven years and no idea whether it's still healthy. Some come because a board member asked a question nobody could answer. All of those are good places to start.
